For this vacation home in Marbella, Spain, the client wanted a sanctuary to escape to from her busy professional life in London. The complete renovation included remodeling the kitchen by integrating it into an open floor plan with the living space. The three bathrooms were updated with the latest fixtures and tiles to emulate the feeling of a boutique hotel. The design scheme unifies neutral tones of colour and geometric forms interpreted in unique ways. Accents of the client's favourite teal blue colour provide a serene ambience. Each bedroom features custom designed headboards that make a statement while still maintaining a minimalist aesthetic. The overall concept is achieved as a personal expression of the client's taste and her desire to have a welcoming retreat for herself as well as for her family and friends.
